Wall Brown is returning to Golden Forest with his brand new E.P “Soul mirror”

A dive into a darker shape of sound,a more raw and primitive approach,which still carries the emotional mark and distinct groove of Wall Brown.

The E.P opens up with “Power of the mind”
Using his own voice,the artist states that the power of the mind,simply comes from understanding!

Deep sounds that stab hard,edgy leads and arpeggios,live recorded drums using sounds like snaps and growls and a mood that sets a tone for the rest of the collection.

Second goes “Soul mirror”.
It’s one of those tracks where the bass drives everything and it’s certainly not an uncommon thing for this artist.

Arpeggios and melodies also play a huge part in it,as well as a hard hitting drum section that keeps things escalating from start to finish!
By far,it is the most straight forward,in your face,but still somehow familiar sound!

Then we have “Nameless”

A descent into darker sounds and scapes is what it musically represents!

A slow burning opening with atmospheric vocals and bass,up until the beat drops and drives you into a melodic journey towards a path of the mind that light isn’t present!

Last comes “Darkball”
Just the tittle of this track tells its story.
It bounces through several dimensions of musical values,keeping a straight and equal line between groove and melody,all while it inevitably evolves into its own darkness.

Deep bass and leads,a drum section that sticks in mind and progressively drives the whole track until the end.

While darkness in general can be considered unwanted,it’s a human side that we all should and will embrace inevitably.
Wall Brown helps you descent into it with Soul Mirror,musically and emotionally.
It’s a deeper,more immersive experience of an album that helps you embrace and welcome the values of these darker moments.
